French Coalition for the International Criminal Court

CFCPI

AEDH has been a member of the French Coalition for the International Criminal Court since its creation. The Coalition consists of about forty organisations, professional groups and trade union bodies, representing a range of French opinions concerning aspects of international criminal justice. The Coalition is a member of the International Coalition for the ICC (http://www.iccnow.org), a coalition that represents more than 2.500 NGOs worldwide.

Collective against the Trafficking of Human Beings

Collectif contre traite des etres humainsAEDH is a partner in the Collective Together against the Trafficking of Human Beings. The collective consists of 25 French organisations working directly or indirectly alongside the victims of trafficking both in France and abroad.  The collective fights all forms of human  trafficking. It has two distinct aims : to develop the public awareness of this complex subject and to persuade the political leaders to fight this crime.

The European Network for Central Africa (EURAC)

AEDH is a member of the European Network for Central Africa (EURAC). EURAC consists of 46 organisations in 12 European countries that are working in development and humanitarian aid.

EURAC provides its members and political parties with information about what is happening in the region. It carries out advocacy with the funding organisations and international institutions so that diplomatic efforts and planned interventions meet the expressed needs of the local populations.

Human rights and democracy network (HRDN)

AEDH is a member of the Human Rights and Democracy Network, based in Brussels. This network brings together 50 European NGOs working for the defence of human rights, for democracy and for the maintenance of peace.

Convinced that human rights and democracy are fundamental constituents of European identity, HRDN aims to influence the strategies of the European Union and its member states in the promotion of a democracy of rights and peace.

Platform of French NGOs for Palestine

plateforme palestineAEDH has the observer status with the Platform of French NGOs for Palestine whose aim is to argue for the recognition of the rights of Palestinians. Created at the time of Oslo 11, the platform brings together NGOs working for international solidarity, NGOs raising awareness of the Palestinian predicament, and others concerned with Human Rights Development and mass education. The coalition has three main activities:

  • Assisting development of the Palestinian Territory through partnership with NGOs on the ground.
  • Making public opinion and the powers aware of the rights of the Palestinian peoples.
  • Exchange of information between the 40 French organisations of which 28 are members and 12 observers.

France Colombia Solidarity Network (RFCS)

AEDH has been a member of this network, created in 2012 since July 2014. 11 member NGOs based in France are supporting projects in Colombia. The network was set up in response to a felt need on the part of the French NGOs to work together. They decided that by pooling their efforts they would increase their impact particularly for more effective communication and advocacy. The principal areas of collaboration are Human Rights, development and peace initiatives. The network became a member in 2014 of OIDHACO (www.oidhaco.org), a European platform that carries out advocacy at the EU and the UN.

Rhône-Alpes Network "Peace, Human Rights and co-operation for development

Reseau Paix

AEDH has been a member of this network since its creation in 2012. It was set up by the Rhône-Alpes region and consists of NGOs and community representatives in the region. It has four main types of activity: consultation between members and sharing capacity and experience; building on the experience of the members; collective action; and transmitting information and raising awareness of peace and Human Rights questions amongst the citizens of the Rhône-Alpes region.
