Agir Ensemble pour les Droits de l’Homme has released a website for its training programme in Mauritania. FAM is a play on the word femme, since the programme is concerned with the defence and promotion of women’s rights in Mauritania. FAM was launched in September 2010 with three Mauritanian associations managing the work on the ground. The website describes the activities supported by the programme as well as the plight of Mauritanian women who are still victims of many and varied attacks on their rights. http://www.programmefam.fr/
