Agir Ensemble pour les Droits de l’Homme is an international solidarity organisation which is committed to defend human rights through partnerships with local associations from the South and East.
Agir Ensemble pour les Droits de l'Homme supports field activities on the ground, strengthens the capacity of local actors and helps human rights defenders in danger.

DRC - The DECLIK project Mission of enquiry into prison conditions in the province of North Kivu.

Since November 2012 AEDH has been co-ordinating the DECLIK project for the development of the activities of human rights defenders in the two provinces of North and South Kivu in the east of the DRC. The NGO’s concerned – Asadho North Kivu, Arche d’Alliance, PAIF, SOPROP and UCPDHO – have all received grants from AEDH in the past. DECLIK is supported financially by the European Union, the NED foundation based in Washington and the French embassy in DRC. As part of the project there was an enquiry into prison conditions in North Kivu which was carried out in April 2014 in collaboration with The World Organisation against Torture (OMCT)

Defence of the most vulnerable victims in the Lebanon

 

AEDH has been supporting the Lebanese Centre for Human Rights since 2007. In October 2014 we welcomed Hasna Abdul Reda, a lawyer working for CLDH, during the Fortnight for Equality between Women and Men organised under the auspices of the Rhone Alpes Region of France.
